Italian export armour from around 1470 year. Based on iconography and preserved antiques. This type of pattern was popular in Switzerland and the armour has got several features characteristic for that part of Europe. In major part the construction of the armour is typical for Italian workshops. One of substantial departures from oryginal pattern is substitution of classic asymetric arm cover with large couters. Italian style was also changed to more vertical gothic style by adding jagged edges and the ridge of grooves. This kind of armour was often crafted in Italy for export. Every single element of it was forged, none was welded. Crafting a replica of this quality takes about 8 months. The whole armour is hammered, and then sanded and polished by hand (*2). You can obtain more information about the armour and possibility of order realization via private message. You can find more pictures of individual parts of the armour in proper sections.
